solution :-

given in question

volume of right circular cylinder = 1540 cm^3

and,

curved surface area of cylinder = 440cm^2

find radius = ?

height = ?

According to questions

volume of right circular cylinder = 1540 cm^3

here using formula ,

volume of right circular cylinder = πr^2h

then,

πr^2 h = 1540cm^3

[ value of π = 22/ 7 ]

22 / 7 × r^2 × h = 1540 cm^3

r^2 × h = 1540 × 7 / 22

r^2 × h = 490 eq (1)

since , curved surface area of cylinder = 440cm^2

using formula

curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

next,

2πrh = 440 cm^2

2 × 22/7 × r × h = 440cm^2

44/7 × r × h = 440cm^2

r × h = 440 × 7 / 44 cm^2

r × h = 70

h = 70 / r ( eq 2)

put the values h in eq 1 }

r^2 × 70 / r = 490

70r = 490

r = 490 / 70

r = 7cm

so find h = ?

put the values of r in eq (2)

r × h = 70

7 × h = 70

h = 70 / 7

h = 10cm

therefore r = 7cm and h = 10cm
