Solutions :-
Given :
Two cylinders of equal volume heights in the ratio of 1 : 16
Let the radius of one cylinder be R
Radius of other cylinder be r
Let the height of one cylinder be h
Height of other cylinder be 16h
We know that,
Volume of cylinder = πr²h cu. unit
Now,
πR²h = πr²16h
=> R² = r²16
=> R² = 16r²
=> R² = (4r)²
=> R = 4r
Hence,
The ratio of radii = 1 : 4
