Vrunda drives a drives a car at a speed of 80 km/hour to cover a distance of 720kms.If she drives at a speed of 90 km / hour, then how much time will she save to cover the same distance ?

first of all we need to find time of both cases

i.e.

CASE 1 :-.

speed of the car = 80km/h

distance to cover = 90km/h

so, time taken is

time =  \frac{distance}{speed}

i.e.

 =  \frac{720}{80}

 = 9 \: hours

CASE 2 :--

speed of the car = 90 km/h

distance to cover = 720 km

so, time taken is

time =  \frac{720}{90}

 = 8 \:hours

So, time saved = time taken in case 1 - time taken in case 2

i.e.

time saved = 9 - 8

= 1 hours

therefore time saved is 1 hours.
