And tens digit be y.

And let the sum of two digit number be 10x + y.

According to question,

4(x+y) = 10x + y _ (I)

4x + 4y = 10x + y

4x - 10x = y - 4y

- 6x = - 3y

6x / 3 = y

y = 2x

According to question ,

y= 2

Then,from equation (I)

2 = 2x

x = 1.

Now,

the number is 10x + y

= 10×1 + 2

= 10 + 2

= 12
