ANSWER -:

________________________

The area of left over aluminium sheet =

22.44cm^2

_______________________

EXPLANATION-:

Solution:

Here radius of the circle =2cm

Area of the circle -: A1 = πr^2

3.14 x (2)^2

3.14 x 4

12.56 cm^2

Side of the aluminium sheet a = 6 cm

∴ area of the square shaped aluminium

sheet, side = a = 6 cm

Area of square = side x side

Area of the square shaped aluminium

sheet = 6 x 6 = 36 cm^2

A2 = 36cm^2

For the area left over aluminium sheet -:

A2 - A1

A1 = 12.56cm^2

A2 = 36 cm^2

36 - 12.56 =23.44 cm^2

The area of left over aluminium sheet =

22.44cm^2

Formula of area of different shapes -:

Circle π × r2. R = radius

Triangle ½ × b × h. B= base h= height

Square ax a. A= length of side

Rectangle. l × w. l = length w = width
