The post office is very helpful for us. It helps us in many ways.
We send and receive our letters through the post office.
It is a branch of the Indian Postal Department. Formerly there was no post office.
The letters were sent and received through messengers across the country.
It was expensive because of the distance.
But currently, we do not face that kind of difficulty.
Penny-dak was introduced in India in 1963 by Lord Dalhousie of Great Britain.
Everything has changed since that day. Post office runs by Government of India.
So many employees like postmaster, post peon, etc. are employed in the post office.
They help us so much in our work.
