Sapna's wage is 200% more than that Neha's wage

Given:

The wages of Neha, Rahul, and Sapna are in the ratio 1: 2: 3

The wage of the three of them together = Rs. 6000

To find:

By what percent is the wage of Sapna more than that of Neha ?

Solution:

Given the ratio of wages of Neha, Rahul, and Sapna = 1: 2: 3

Let us assume that the wage of Neha, Rahul, and Sapna are x, 2x, and 3x respectively

The sum of wages = x + 2x + 3x

From the given data

=> x + 2x + 3x = Rs 6000

=>  6x = 6000

=>   x = 1000

By the above calculations,

Neha's wage, x = 1000

Rahul's wage, 2x = 2(1000) = 2000

Sapna's wage, 3x = 3(1000) = 3000

Here the difference between Sapna and Neha's wages is

=> 3000 - 1000 = 2000

Sapna's wage is 2000 more than that Neha's wage

The percentage of Sapna's wage in Neha's wage = (2000/1000)× 100

=> 2 × 100 = 200%

Therefore,

Sapna's wage is 200% more than that Neha's wage.
