Keratocystic odontogenic tumor (KCOT) is the most common benign tumor of the maxillofacial area.

It is true that, the Marsupialization techinique is followed by enucleation in Waldron's procedure.
Mostly, in case of a large cyst, marsupialization or decompression is the first step performed to minimize the cyst size. Then, in order to avoid any fracture and deformation, the technique called enucleation is performed. This is called as Waldron's procedure.
