Walking at a speed of 4 km/hr a man covers a certain distance
in 2 h 45 min. If he run at a rate of 16.5 km/hr, Find the
time taken by him to cover the same distance.

Answer:

initial velocity (u) = 4km/hr

time (t) = 2h45m

= 2 + 45/60

= 2+ 3/4

= 11/4 hr

retardation

(negative acceleration)= 16.5km/h²

we know that,

distance = speed/time

= 4/11/4

= 4×4/11

=16/11km

time = distance / speed

= 16/11/4

= 16×4/11

= 64/11

= 5.8 km ans
