Answer:

5 lbs

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

Given that walnut , peanuts and chocolate chips are mixed  in  a ratio

7 : 2: 5

Let the constant of proportionality be k

So, walnut content= 7k

Peanuts content = 2k

Chocolate content = 5k

Total weight of the mixture = 14k

Weight of walnut content is given as 2.5 lbs

7k = 2.5

k = 2.5/7

k = 5/14

Weight of the mixture = 14k

= 14*5/14

= 5 lbs.

Hence, weight of the mixture is 5 lbs

Hope, it helps !
