my camera is not working presently so i have written steps to do it 
first: (x/a)(a^2/x)=a    i eq.
2.     (y/b)(y/b^2)=b    ii eq 
3.      (a+b)/c              iii eq
     x        y         -1
a/1    b/1    (a+b)/c     a/1
now cross multiply x y and -1
