The Si unit of force is newton.
NEWTON'S SECOND LAW OF MOTION--
"The net acceleration of a body is equal to the net force acting on it divided by the mass of the body."
darivation for the newton's second law of motion--
Initial momentum= mu
Final momentum= mv
Change in momentum= mv-mu
Rate of momentum change= (mv-mu)/t
=m(v-u)/t
{as we know,from the first equation of motion,
that (v-u)/t = a}
so we may also write like.
=m(a)
from here we get F=m(a)
