Mrs. slater is deceitful, jealous about her sister mrs. jordan . she unfairly claimed her fathers things before her sisters arrival. Mrs. Jordan was not worried about her fathers death but worried about the things of her father. Mrs. Slater and Jordan does'nt even wait for their fathers funeral and started dividing things among themselves.
