ASP is a rank who can be posted as an Officer Trainee, an SDO Police, an SHO or an ACP. In cities, Assistant Commissioner of Police [ACP] is the designation given to a police officer of the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police [ASP] or Deputy Superintendent of Police [DSP]
