Old man at the bridge is about a sad story of an old man who has no family of humans but he stays with his family of dear animals..here we can see that due to war he has to leave his family behind and flee to Barcelona and is worrying about his goats..here i say about war..Well wars ar usually represented in bright light by the winners and story of injustices by the losers.but none of them mention about the sufferings of all people during the war and the immense bloodshed .....Hemingway,the poet has described such a condition about an old man and his anguish for his animals which he had left behind in the town of San Carlos .it makes us realize that how people like the seventy six year old man ,suffer during the war...it is important to understand that wars ar the most devastating and dangerous creation of human which takes many lifes and innocent people suffer....the poet Hemingway ,here makes a strong critique for war in his story"The Old Man at The Bridge".
