The soap molecules have \bold{two\:ends:}

=> Hydrophobic
=> Hydrophilic.

The hydrophobic end is water hating and is \bold{positively\:charged.}

\bold{Whereas,}

Hydrophilic end is water loving and is \bold{negatively\:charged.}

Water molecules are \bold{positively\:charged.}

\bold{So,}

The ionic end is attracted towards \bold{water} and the carbon chain is attracted towards the \bold{dirt} and this forms \bold{micelles.}
