The soap molecules have $\bold{two\:ends:}$

=> Hydrophobic
=> Hydrophilic.

The hydrophobic end is water hating and is $\bold{positively\:charged.}$

$\bold{Whereas,}$

Hydrophilic end is water loving and is $\bold{negatively\:charged.}$

Water molecules are $\bold{positively\:charged.}$

$\bold{So,}$

The ionic end is attracted towards $\bold{water}$ and the carbon chain is attracted towards the $\bold{dirt}$ and this forms $\bold{micelles.}$
