He never took part in any Hindu festivals because he was a staunched Muslim and he didn't see his benefits in Hindi festivals which was wrong as a king but as a person it is his wish, instead of focusing on his negative side and check his positive.

Aurangzeb extended the Mughal empire almost over entire India, His administration system was strong and strict he didn't waste all money from the Mughal treasury for personal purposes like other Mughal rulers.

By this we can make sure that Aurangzeb wasn't a people's ruler but was a kingdom's ruler, so we should not judge him by his negative impact.
