Similarly the boycott of foreign goods was used as means of protest against British colonial economic policies.The people of India began to look foreign goods as cause of the destruction of their industries and economy. So they began to boycott the foreign goods and also started picketing of foreign goods. The foreign goods were publicly burnt as well. So all this shows that boycott helped to spread anti-British feelings in India.

We see after the partition of Bengal, the nationalist gave a call of boycott and large people supported them and it turned into a Movement which ultimately forced the British to annul the partition.
