Julius Caesar wasn't ambitious because he refused the crown twice when it was offered to him. This shows that, that wasn't what he was after. Brutus just killed him because if he ever became ambitious nobody could really stop him.he even fought for the sake of Rome and Romans.he also brought treasury to Rome.
