Griffin was brilliant scientist who invented a method whereby the human could become invisible. He experimented himself first and was successful.

The true qualities of a scientist include his loyalty and eagerness to work for the betterment of the society. But in case of griffin , he involved himself in harmful and destructive activities. he was a lawless prson and used his discoveries for personal benefits. He has a criminal bent of mind. He was more a sort of thief or a robber.

though he made a wonderful discovery he fails to serve mankind and humanity.
