no, his reactions were not expected by his parents. they thought that after knowing that Bill is a actually a professional boxer he will start to show hatred towards him because boxing was a violent sport but Harold was a sensitive and sophisticated child prodigy but when Harold got to know the truth everyone got surprised by knowing that actually Harold loves boxing and he had also made a bet with his friend that Young Porky will win. he also started showing even more respect to his father and was happy that now no one would make fun of him.
