Harold's reaction at the end was not at all an expected one . His parents thought that he was a boy of intellect who was not interested in any sport of wrath . They thought it would be difficult for harold to accept the image and qualities of his father as a proffessional boxer , a man of wrath . But they were unaware that Harold was fond of boxing and knew quite a thing or two about the sport . His reaction at the end proved that he was among those whose heroes were professional boxers .
