No , she was not succeeded in killing a tiger . When she fired the shot it had killed the goat and not the tiger . But the villagers convinced at the fiction that Mrs . Packletide had killed the tiger . She knew the reality and she was also blackmailed by Miss Mebbin . So , she was unhappy and unsuccessful in her aim .....

Yes Mrs pakeltide was successful in killing the tiger with the help of the villagers. She told the villagers that if they will help her she will give them money as a reward. So villagers agree to help her.
Mrs pakletide fired she miss shot as she killed the goat instead of Tiger. As she miss the shot then also she is successful in killing the news coz only Mrs pakeltide and her companion knows rhat she miss the shot. Others all think that she killed the tiger. And she invited loona bimberton on dinner and gave her a batch made of tiger s skin.
