Was ravan a good person or a bad person in terms of his character??I have heard that ravan is worshipped in some parts of Sri Lanka..Is it true??

1. He kidnapped Sita but never forced her to marry him
2. He asked Sita's permission to marry him
3. He always respected Sita
4. Moreover he was a veena player of repute
He was bad because...
1. He kidnapped Sita mata
2. He done conspiracy and showed Sriramachandra's cut head to Sita as well as Sita 's cut head to Sriramachandra
3. He killed Jatayu
4. He tried to contribute polygamy by asking Sita to marry him
