I think yes because an old can't see his daughter fighting always and they didn't even checked him that he was dead or alive and they were ready to distribute their properties with that almira which he liked so much ..I think any parent could not live their by watching these type of things ,they don't care that how he was and much more .Only his small granddaughter checks him .He needed someone who can help him and watch him at that age so,I think he did right by leaving house.
