Was the commitment of Choudhary Devi Lal that he would waive the loans of the farmers and small businessmen a fair election promise? Give your arguments.

Devi Lal, an opposition leader from Haryana, started the "Nyaya Yudh" (struggle for justice) movement.

He became the Chief Minister and promised to forgive the farmers and loan debt.

In the Haryana assembly elections of 1987, he became the Chief Minister of this dispute.

Devi Lal served as the six deputy prime minister.

Devi Lal who was an opposition leader in Haryana organized and lead a movement named as  " Nyaya yudh " which means struggle for justice.

Before an election, during a campaign, he promised to waive the loans of farmers and businessmen if he wins the election and became the chief minister.

This promise made the people to vote him and to win the election. and made him the chief minister in 1987 state elections of Haryana.
