Hello mate.

The founding members of the party were M.N.Roy,Evelyn Trent Roy(Roy's wife),Abani Mukherji.It was founded on 26 December1925.The first conference ws held in kanpur,then Cawnpore. S.V. Ghate was first General Secretary of CPI.

It is the oldest communist political party in India,and one of the eight national parties in the country.
