Was this your first time taking this type of inventory? If no, did your results change from the last time? If so, did your learning style results surprise you?

Now that you have identified your learning style, how will you apply this knowledge to your studying?

Reflect on the studying strategies you have used previously. Have your study habits been effective? Why or why not? What studying strategies from this week do you think will be helpful?

The answer of the questions are as below:

Explanation:

We all have different learning styles and we all learn differently from others. I have already learned different learning styles in the last class, however, this was the first time I had taken an inventory to measure my learning style. As for the results, they were a bit surprising as I have always been someone who loves to read and write. I am the type of person who tried to suck up all the information about the concepts and topics I was learning. However, I did measure a bit more in the scene than I thought I would. My visual score was 5, aural was 2, read/writing was 9, and kinesthetic was 6. I expected the result to be more in the field of reading and writing, which is the way I have always liked to learn.

Although these results gave me knowledge about other types of learning ability, it was not surprising that my highest score was with a learning style I already knew I was capable of and that helped me worked best. However, by understanding why this style is the best fit for me, I have been able to build my confidence, improve my image, learn how to work my brain in understanding the concepts I'm learning, and help me become more involved in the learning process. able to enjoy. than I do now. This type of learning style also led to a heightened curiosity and attainment of motivation which would enable me to become a better learner.

The study strategies I've used in the past relate to my current style, reading and writing concepts, and visual learning. I love visual teaching when it comes to certain aspects of my learning. For example, in my psychology class it is easy to visually graph the various theorists and what their role was with science. However, using the visual method isn't compatible with most of the learning I've conducted. Some study strategies that would be best suited for me are to start focusing on the areas that I have the most difficulty with, while I am taking notes, then developing more and more critical reading and thinking skills. This can be done by using putting notes in my own words and then relating those notes to a real world situation, if possible. Also, asking myself questions about what I'm learning can help develop more of the thinking skills I'm trying to target. Ensuring that you have the right way of note-taking and study skills can certainly enable one to make the most of their education.
