Wasim sold his watch at 10% loss. If he had sell it for Rs 54 Rs 54 more then he would have made 8 8%. P. Find SP​

Answer:

Let Wasim sold his watch in RS.x

Now , 90% × CP = x

 \implies  \bf CP =  \frac{x \times 100}{90}

If he sold it for RS.54 more,he would have 8% profit ,

So,

 \bf108\%   \times CP \:  = x  +  54 \\  \bf \implies  \frac{108}{100}  \times  \frac{x \times 100}{90} = x + 54 \\  \bf \implies   x =  \frac{5400}{20}   \\  \bf \implies  \boxed {  \bf \: x = 270}

Hence , Wasim sold his watch in Rs.270.
