.the difference between any two consecutive no. is 1
.out of any two consecutive numbers one must be even and one must be odd.
.example of consecutive no. 15..16..17...18...so on
.for e.g consecutive odd no between 0 to 10 is
1..3..5..7..9..
.A no. (natural or whole)that exceeds a given no.by 1 is called its cosecutive successor. for eg the consecutive successor of 0 is 1
.A no. that is less than a given no by 1 is called its consecutive predecessor. for eg the consecutive predecessor of 3 is 2
