Education is necessary for any nation to progress, Pakistan is currently facing many problems regarding education as the most of the people are illiterate and don't want to persue their study. The number of student sin the primary and secondary schools are more than the number of student in the high school ( up to 10 standard class). Similarly the students going from school to college for intermediate( 11th and 12th standard) goes to decrease . This trend faced extremely lower level when it's comes to higher education.
Instead of the government efforts due to poverty the people like to enter their children on labor profession  rather than the educational institute.

Education in Pakistan is divided in to 6 basic categories.
Pre-school
Primary school
Middle school
Secondary school
Intermediate
Higher secondary
University level
The government of Pakistan is trying hard to drop the level of illiteracy. But still there are many areas in Pakistan where the plan is not getting any success. The reason behind is that there are many areas where the education of women is frowned upon or the girls are set to get married at a young age or the children are forced to work at a very small age. There is a 72% population in Pakistan that is illiterate
