I would like to suggest you that try these type of question yourself this will help you a lot, in case you have to write it yourself. I am giving you a short explanation of the movie or you can say the battle , elaborate it yourself.
the movie kesari is based on the real Battle of saragarhi faught on 12th September 1897 between the British empire and the tribals of Afghanistan. on 12th September 1897, around 10 to 12 thousand tribals of Afghanistan were spotted near gogra, at samana sukh around saragarhi, cutting off fort gulistan from fort lockhart. this battle was faught between the 10000 + tribesmen and the 36th Sikh regiment.
at that time there were only 21 soldiers in the 36th Sikh regiment posted at the fort of saragarhi. Sergeant ishwar Singh was the leader of the 36th Sikh regiment and Gul badshah was the leader of tribesmen at that time. this battle was held for above 6 hours that makes it one of the bravest battles fought in Indian history in which only 21 soldiers defended the fort against 10000 + tribesmen for above 6 hours. all the 21 soldiers give their sacrifice and killed around 400 and wounded 600. the tribals got victory over the fort but it didn't last long because British sent reinforcements and recaptured the fort soon. every year 12th September is celebrated as regimental battle honours day by the Sikh regiment of Indian army.
