Rotation crop means growing crops in rotation so that soil won't lose fertility. whereas multiple crops means growing different kinds of crops in a same piece of a land.

for example- Ramu is a farmer and he wants to increase his productivity so he starts growing different kinds of crops in the same land in the Sam dear i.e rice in winter, pulses in summer etc. this process is called multiple croping.
