Water and oil are placed in the same vessel and stirred. What is the reason that oil and water will not mix?

BECAUSE OIL AND WATER ARE TWO IMMISCIBLE LIQUIDS. THE DENSITY OF OIL IS MUCH LOW THAN THAT OF WATER AND HENCE IT FLOAT ON THE SURFACE OF WATER.

the oil and water does not mix because of differet density they .

for example

if we are going to mix kerosine and water then they will not mix because water is having high density then kerosine so kerosine float over water
