the indus valley civilization was near the river indus, from which they obtained water for different uses such as agriculture and drinking and also the river indus made the cities rich as traders passing had to pay taxes.

the indus valley civilization was civilised near on the bank of river indus. thus it helps to fulfil the need of water. they use water for agricultural activities for irritating plants. as it is near to Arabian sea, it gives a ready transportation of goods to mesopotamian civilization for trade. but that water also resulted in decline of the indus valley civilization by floods which washed up the civilization.
