■Water is liquid at room temperature because our room temperature is 27 -36 degree Celsius.

■Water becomes solid at 0 degree Celsius

and becomes vapour from 100 degree Celsius as it is its boiling point.

■In between these temperatures water will be in liquid state.

■So at room temperature water will be in liquid state.
