Water is one of the most important naturally occurring resources found on the earth, used for sustaining human as well as different life forms. As years and years passed on, in the 21st century various issues like global warming ,natural calamities opposing a main threat to the human life.
Along with the above mentioned calamities there is also a need to conserve water. Water is used in our day to day activities for drinking, bathing washing the utensils and irrigation purposes.
For conservation of water there are various methods available out there. Rainwater harvesting is one of the most effective method for conserving and storing rainwater, large holes are dug in the ground and surrounded with gravels and soil so that the rain water is absorbed by the ground and the bore well water levels are increased. Also farmers nowadays are aiming for sprinkle and drip irrigation which uses minimum amount of water. Overall a great increase has been seen in the methods adopted for conserving water.
