Water is a vital natural resource. It sustains all living creatures on the earth. Abundant is its use.We use it for drinking(mainly),washing,bathing etc. Only 3% of fresh water is available on earth. Of the 3%, 2% in glaciers and only 1% is available as rivers,streams,etc.But random water pollution and abuse of water results in water crisis.Environmental pollution is the main cause for water pollution.As a result groundwater decreases and taps and wells dry up in summers. People living in arid area suffer from insufficient of water.They drink the water from filthy ponds and stagnant tanks,etc. Consequently they become a victim of deadly diseases.
To overcome this major problem(water crisis) we should take some measures like rainwater harvesting,right use of water, pollution check, proper water treating, controlling the wastage of water, bringing awareness in people about water and its importance,etc.
