Water drops do not stick onto leaves because it has waterproof cuticles.

Explanation:

The leaves of the plants are considered to be waterproof because in order to minimize the evaporation so that it will also prevent from loss of water. This happens because of the presence of waterproof cuticles in the leaves of the plants. This cuticle that is presented in the leaves helps in regulating the carbon dioxide that is taken up by the opening and closing of the stomata presented in the leaves. Therefore the presence of water in the leaf do not observed by them because the carbon dioxide is less soluble in the water than that of air.
