Time period to reach ground

t =  \sqrt{ \frac{2 \times 5}{g} }  =  1 \:  \: secs

So in 1 second 6 drops fall , so time interval between two drops is 1/5 . And let if first drop is dropped at t = 0 ,then 4th drop was dropped after 3 × 1/5 = 0.6 secs , now it is 1 so that drop has travelled for 0.4 Secs .

Initial velocity zero

s =  ut +  \frac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}  \\ s =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times (0.4) {}^{2}  =0 .8 \: m

So height is 5 - 0.8 = 4.2 m
