Water exists in all three states: Solids, liquids and gas

In normal room temperature, water exists in liquid state.
When we cool or freeze it, it changes into ice and freezes, evolving heat...thus it becomes solid.
When we heat it, it changes to steam and evaporates, absorbing heat....thus it becomes gaseous....

Answer:

Water is known to exist in three different states, as a solid, liquid and gas. A cloud is comprised of ice crystals as solid or tiny water droplets as liquid. Water existing as gas is called water vapor. Moisture in air is referred to as amount of water vapor. Clouds, snow and rain are different forms of water.
