Velocity is  150/π m/s

Let the speed if flow of water be = v.

Radius of pipe, r = 1 cm = 10-2 m

Volume of water flowing out of the pipe = 15 l

= 15×10-3 m3

Thus area of cross-section of the hose pipe will be -

A = πr²

= π × 10-4 m²

now,

Volume of water flowing out of pipe in one min = Area × Velocity

= 15×10-3 × π × 10-4 m²

= 150/π

Thus, velocity is  150/π m/s
