Answer:5 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

We have;

Speed of water (v)=0.7m/sec i.e. (0.7*100)/sec=70cm/sec

Radius of pipe (r)=2cm

Dimensions of tank=(2.2*4.5*1.6)m^3

Let the time taken be x secs

lenght of cylindrical pipe(L)=70x cm

Volume of tank=volume of pipe

2.2*4.5*1.6 = π*r*r*L

15.84 m^3 = 22/7*2*2*70x cm^3

15.84 m^3 = 880x cm^3

15.84 m^3 = 0.88x*10^-3 m^3

x = 15.84/(0.88*10^-3)

x = 18000

So the time taken is 18000secs i.e.

[5 minutes]
