Water flows at the rate of 30cm/sec from a cylindrical pipe 15mm in diameter. How long would it take to fill a conical vessel whose diameter at the surface is 40cm and depth 54 cm?

D of cylinder = 4 cm , Radius = 2 cm Rate = 20 m per min In 1 min = 20 m In x min = 20x m Volume of cylinder = Volume of cone pie * 2 * 2 * 20x = 1 / 3 *pie * 40 * 40 * 72 80x * 3 = 1600 * 72 3x = 20 * 72 x = 20 * 72 / 3 x = 20 * 24 x = 480 min 480 min = 8 hours Cheers! Best of Luck!
