SOLUTION :-

  • Radius of cylindrical tank = 60cm ( change in metre) = 60/100 = 6/10m
  • height = ?
  • diameter of pipe = 2cm = 2/100m
  • Radius = diameter/2 = 2/100×2 = 1/100m

  • in 1sec water flows = 6m
  • in 60sec water flows = 6×60
  • in 1 min water flows = 6×60
  • in 30min water flow = 6×60×30

( height = 6×60×30m

Now,

  • According to question

πr²h = π*1/100 * 1/100 * 60 * 6 * 30

6/10*60/100*h = 1*6*60 * 30/100*100

h = 30/10

h = 3m

Hence,

  • ) the level rise in 30 min = 3m\sf
