SOLUTION :-
- Radius of cylindrical tank = 60cm ( change in metre) = 60/100 = 6/10m
- height = ?
- diameter of pipe = 2cm = 2/100m
- Radius = diameter/2 = 2/100×2 = 1/100m
- in 1sec water flows = 6m
- in 60sec water flows = 6×60
- in 1 min water flows = 6×60
- in 30min water flow = 6×60×30
(→ height = 6×60×30m
Now,
- According to question
→ πr²h = π*1/100 * 1/100 * 60 * 6 * 30
→ 6/10*60/100*h = 1*6*60 * 30/100*100
→ h = 30/10
→ h = 3m
★ Hence,
- →) the level rise in 30 min = 3m
