Volume of water flowing per second = R
= 15 / 60
= 0.25 m^3/s
R = Av
A = R / v
A = 0.25 / 3
A = 1/12 m^2
Area of cross section is 1/12 m^2
Radius of pipe = sqrt(1/(12 * π)) ……[∵ A = πr^2]
= 0.162 m
= 16.2 cm
= 15 / 60
= 0.25 m^3/s
R = Av
A = R / v
A = 0.25 / 3
A = 1/12 m^2
Area of cross section is 1/12 m^2
Radius of pipe = sqrt(1/(12 * π)) ……[∵ A = πr^2]
= 0.162 m
= 16.2 cm
