FINAL ANSWER:-

height = 12.375 m

GIVEN:-

cylindrical water tank of height 14 m

a base with diameter 6 m

a cuboidal water tank of dimensions 12 m x 8 mx 6 m

TO FIND:-

the height of water in the cuboidal water tank

FORMULA USED:

volume of cuboid = length × base × hight

volume of cylindrical  tank = π×r²×h

Height = \frac{Volume}{Area}

VALUES:-

Length = 12

Breadth  = 8

radius = 3

SOLUTION:-

Volume =  π(3)²(14)

             = 1188 m³

Area = Length × Breadth

Area = 12 × 8

        = 96 m²

Height = \frac{Volume}{Area}

            = \frac{1188}{96}

            = 12.375 m
