actually the answer is imbibition cause the cells in the root hair are dead ....but since u dont have tat in ur option then its root pressure !

Osmotic pressure of the cell sap of root hairs is usually higher than the osmotic pressure of the soil water. Therefore, the diffusion pressure deficit (DPD) and the suction pressure in the root hairs become higher and water form the cell wall enters into then through the plasma membrane by osmotic diffusion.

'Root Pressure'. It is the transverse osmotic pressure within the cells of a root system that causes sap to rise through a plant stem to the leaves. Root pressure occurs in the xylem of some vascular plants when the soil moisture level is high either at night or when transpiration is low during the day.
