Water has a tendency to breaks compounds into ions(mostly ionic compounds, as it's been told to me) Then why doesn't a precipitate gets ionised by water in a precipitation reaction? eg- BaCl2(aq) + Na2SO4(aq) ----> BaSO4(s) + NaCl(aq) Here, BaSO4 can also be broken into ions(Ba2+ and SO42-), so why it doesn't get ionised by water? ( I am a 10th grader, I'll be grateful if you would use easy language for the answer)​
