Water has a high boiling point than that of alcohol because the hydrogen bonds present within the molecule are stronger than the ones in case of alcohol.

Therefore, a greater amount of energy or temperature is required to break the bonds in order to boil water.

Answer:

In water strong intermolecular bonding is present in the comparison of alcohol, so boiling point of water is higher than alcohal.
